Cannon Valley Composite Mountain Bike Team
New addition to the Sports Collaborative website!
Cannon Valley Composite is a mountain bike racing team for students in grades 6-12 in Minnesota’s Cannon River Valley. Current bikers are from Northfield, Faribault, Owatonna and Webster. All student-athletes are welcome to participate, regardless of ability level.
The team is part of the Minnesota High School Cycling League (MCA), a 501(c)(3) youth development organization building strong minds, bodies and character, guided by the principals of inclusivity and equality. More than 2,600 student athletes participate in the MCA, supported by 1,300 coaches!
This is a fall sport, with registration occurring in early summer.

Northfield Soccer Association
Last call for traveling soccer! The registration deadline for the Northfield Soccer Club’s summer traveling season is here – click here to sign up now! We offer traveling teams for boys and girls in the U10-U18 age groups. Registration for our in-house (U4-U8) and Academy (U9-U10) programs will open in the spring. Scholarships are available for all ages.
Northfield Tennis Association
The NTA is teaming up with Northfield Community Ed to offer beginner lessons to elementary school-aged kids this spring! Kids will have fun learning the basics of tennis through fun games and activities in an indoor setting. One session will be held at each elementary school. In March, the lessons will be held in the gymnasium at Spring Creek, in April the lessons will be held in the gymnasium at Bridgewater, and in May the lessons will be held in the gymnasium at Greenvale Park. Northfield Wrestling Club
Novice Wrestling: Join the Northfield James Gang novice wrestling practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Northfield High School wrestling room from 6-7 p.m. Nov. 9-April 4. Registration fee is $140. Register here.
Advanced wrestling: Join the Northfield James Gang practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Northfield High School wrestling room from 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 9-April 4. Registration fee is $180. Register here.
If you are joining later in the season, fees will be prorated to reflect dates of participation.
