Northfield Area Family YMCA

The Northfield YMCA offers year-round programming for all ages. Check the website for more information.

Northfield Community Education

Arena Roll: Roller skate at the Northfield Ice Arena! Choose from May 3, 10, 17, or attend all three dates; 6-8 p.m., all ages, $5/person or $15/family each night. Free skate and helmet rentals while supplies last. Music, lights, FUN! Please register 24 hours prior to attending.
Soccer: After school at each elementary, Monday-Thursday, grades 1-5, 3:30-4:30 p.m., $35. Spring Creek, May 6-9; Greenvale Park, May 13-16; Bridgewater, May 20-23.
Junior Golf 101: Wednesdays, May 8-22, 3:30-4:30 p.m., ages 6-14, Northfield Golf Club, $80.
Indoor Tennis: Tuesdays (grades K-1) and Wednesdays (grades 2-5), May 14-29, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Bridgewater Elementary, $29.
Volleyball Open Gym: Mondays, May 6-20, 6:30-8 p.m., all ages, Northfield Middle School Gymnasium, $3/time.

Registration is underway for summer skating lessons! Build skills and confidence for skating and for life this summer with the Northfield Skating School. Stay cool in the rink and join our award-winning program for ages 4-adult.

Tuesday evening summer classes begin June 18. Register through Community Education until June 7.

Northfield Swim Club

Join us for for the spring and/or summer swim season! Learn more at: northfieldswimclub.org. The Northfield Swim Club is a competitive swim club that serves swimmers in Northfield and surrounding communities. We are a club with swimmers who are just starting competitive swimming to swimmers who are preparing for and swimming at a college level.

Northfield Tennis Association

The NTA works closely with Northfield Community Education to offer indoor tennis lessons at all three elementary schools. These lessons will be after school and are for beginners in grades K-5.

Using unique training equipment and drills, tennis will be taught and practiced in an engaging way. All equipment is provided. Sign up through Community Ed!

Northfield Wrestling Club

Northfield Wrestling Summer Camp – Sign Up TODAY!
When:

Grades K-6: Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18, from 8-11 a.m.
Grades 7-12: Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18, from 11:30-2:30 p.m.

Where: Northfield High School wrestling room
Cost: $60 total for the two-day camp
Clinicians: Trayton Anderson and Jake Messner

Trayton Anderson is a Northfield Wrestling alumnus. He is currently wrestling for Minnesota State Mankato and also wrestled at SDSU the previous year. His accolades include: State Champion AAA 2018-2019, All State-Team Tournament Class AAA 2018-2019, State 3rd Place AAA 2017-2018, State 2nd Place AAA 2016-2017, State 4th Place AAA 2015-2016. He currently holds the school record for most wins in a single season with 54.
Jake Messner is a Northfield Wrestling alumnus and is currently wrestling for SMSU. His accolades include: State Runner-up AAA 2021-2022, All State-Team Tournament Class AAA 2021-22, State Participant AAA 2020-2021, State 4th Place AAA 2018-2019, State Participant AAA 2017-2018. He currently is second in wins in school history with 195 and 3rd in career takedowns with 410.
