Girls Flag Football Bazaar: Saturday, May 9, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Northfield Middle School Soccer Fields. An event showcasing our four middle school girls flag football teams, the Northfield High School Girls Flag Football Team, the St. Olaf College Women’s Flag Football Team, and teams from surrounding communities (Hastings, Shakopee, and West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan Area Schools). Enjoy a BBQ food truck, energy drinks from our local Healthy Focus, and ice cream. Games are played on the hour beginning at 10 a.m. The last game of the day concludes with a St. Olaf scrimmage at 3 p.m. Free entry, just bring a lawn chair!

Northfield Lacrosse Association

Register now for Girls Summer Lacrosse! Summer season for ages 6-18 runs from mid-May through July. To register, go to northfieldlacrosse.com. Email NorthfieldGirlsLax@gmail.com with any questions.

Northfield Skating School

Registration is NOW OPEN for summer skating! Summer is a great time to stay cool in the rink and improve your skating skills! Group lessons are available for beginner to advanced skaters (including adults). Private lessons are available to those enrolled in group lessons as a supplement to the curriculum. Classes follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum and are taught by trained and certified LTS-USA coaches. Come build skills and confidence for skating and for life with our award-winning local skating program!

Summer classes are held Tuesday evenings from June 16-July 28 for beginner through advanced skaters, ages 4-adult, including recreational and competitive figure skaters and hockey players. Registration is through Northfield Community Education and closes on June 5, but classes will fill so register soon to secure your spot!

Hockey skating clinics for Squirt through high school players will be held from 3-4:20 p.m. on Tuesdays. Contact nfldskatingschool.operations@gmail.com to register.
