Minnesota Youth Ski League

Northfield SkiSparks teaches the basics of cross-country skiing to youth ages 4-12 in a non-competitive environment. This volunteer-coached organization gets families outside in the Carleton Arboretum on Sunday afternoons in January and February. Kids learn with a guided curriculum from the same statewide organization that taught Jessie Diggins to ski!

Northfield Community Education

Equestrian Club, ages 4-17, Fridays, Nov. 17-Dec. 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Cornerstone on the Vermillion, $180

Boys & Girls Bowling, grades K-12, Thursdays or Fridays, Nov. 30-Feb. 2, 4-5:30 p.m., Flaherty’s Northfield Lanes, $90-$100

Ski & Snowboard Club registration and information will be available Dec. 1. Registration deadline is Dec. 8.

Northfield Skating School

Registration for winter classes begins Dec. 1 through Community Education. Classes run Sundays from Jan. 14-March 3 (no class Feb. 18). Whether your goal is to learn to skate backwards, play on a hockey team, have fun outside with your family, or perform as a figure skater, our nationally recognized program will help you build skills and confidence for skating and for life. SPACE IS LIMITED and classes do fill – reserve your spot early!

Northfield Wrestling Club

Girls Wrestling: Try girls wrestling on a girls-only team. The $40 registration fee includes six girls-only practices and a girls-only Holiday Clash wrestling tournament. Practices will be Mondays, Nov. 13-Dec. 18 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Northfield High School wrestling room. Girls-only wrestling tournament on Dec. 17 at the Northfield High School. Girl wrestlers should arrive at noon with wrestling beginning at 1 p.m. on Dec. 17. Register here.

Intro to Wrestling: Try wrestling. Join the Northfield James Gang intro to wrestling for Pre-K and kindergarten on Mondays, Nov. 13-Dec. 18, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Registration fee for the six sessions is $60. Wrestlers can join the beginner program for an additional fee of $80. Register here.

Novice Wrestling: Join the Northfield James Gang novice wrestling practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Nov. 9-April 4, from 6-7 p.m. in the Northfield High School wrestling room. Registration fee is $140. Register here.

Advanced Wrestling: Join the Northfield James Gang advanced wrestling practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Nov. 9-April 4, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Northfield High School wrestling room. Registration fee is $180. Register here.
