Minnesota Youth Ski League – Nordic Ski

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING IS FOR ALL AGES! Minnesota Youth Ski League teaches the skills of cross- country skiing in a fun and non-competitive environment. MYSL is a volunteer-based organization that gathers kids ages 4-12 for weekly lessons using a proven age-appropriate curriculum. We gather Sundays in January and February at the Carleton Arboretum. Youth equipment rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opened on Oct. 25, so go to myxc.org to register as soon as possible!

Northfield Community Education

Fencing, Saturdays, 1-2 p.m., starting Nov. 2 at Northfield Middle School (grades 2-5)
Age Friendly Free Pickleball – Sundays, noon-4 p.m., starting Nov. 3 at Northfield High School and Bridgewater Elementary (all ages)
Gumdo, Tuesdays/Thursdays, 7:30-8:30 p.m., starting Nov. 5 at Spring Creek Elementary (ages 12-adults)
Intro to Boxing, Thursdays, 6-7 p.m., starting Nov. 7 at Northfield Community Education Center (ages 10+)

Northfield Soccer Club

NEW winter futsal program for U6-U10 soccer players begins Nov. 13! This exciting new winter training program is designed to help soccer players improve their foot skills in a fun, fast-paced, high-energy environment. Participants play in gyms rather than on turf, and the sessions will emphasize foot skills and 5v5 scrimmages. Participants in the winter futsal program will meet one evening per week from mid-November through mid-March, for a total of 15 training sessions. Training will not be held the weeks of Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. The fee is $100 for all participants. Due to physical space limitations, the futsal program is capped at 80 total registrants (20 for each of four groups: U6, U8, U9 & U10 boys, and U9 & U10 girls). Register today for the upcoming season and the opportunities! NEW this year: We are a MN/USA Chartered Club, we have NEW coaching staff and expanded season dates and tournament opportunities for both girls and novice wrestlers. Sections that will be offered include introduction to wrestling, novice, advanced and girls team only.
