The Northfield Area Family YMCA has programs for youth of all ages; from swimming lessons to group fitness and personal training, there is something for everyone! Check our website for current offerings.

Winter session registration will open Dec. 3! Winter lessons run on Sundays from Jan. 16-Feb. 27.
Northfield Skating School is an official Learn To Skate USA program where participants build skills and confidence for skating and for life. Join our fun, professional, and inclusive learning environment and learn from trained and certified professional instructors. Group and private lessons are available for ages 4-adult with recreational or competitive goals. Aspiring hockey players welcome and encouraged.

Winter Training is for Academy and Traveling players who want to continue to develop their soccer skills and connect with their teammates during the off-season. With the entire Dundas Dome reserved for our players, participants will generally be separated by gender and grouped by age (9-11, 12-14, and 15 and older) as coaches lead them through training exercises and scrimmages.
Winter Training Program Details:
*Players train Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m.
*Season runs Monday, Jan. 10, through Thursday, March 31
*No training on Feb. 24, and March 3, 7, and 10
*All sessions held at the Dundas Dome
*Cost is $175 per player

It’s time to register for Northfield Volleyball Club’s winter volleyball season. Go to the Registration tab on our website to get your player registered.
Tryouts are set for Tuesday, Nov. 9, for 6th grade and under, and Tuesday, Nov. 16, for grades 7-10!
Northfield Wrestling James Gang Youth season begins November 9 at the Northfield High School. Beginner Wrestling practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 pm at the Northfield High School Wrestling room. The final beginner practice of the season will be on Jan. 13.
Advanced Wrestling practice will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8 p.m., and on Jan. 18, practices will be from 6-7:30 pm until the NYWA state tournament, the first weekend in April.
Watch for registration to open in January for the 2022 season!
In-House baseball is for players in Kindergarten-7th grade. The In-House league runs from May-July and gives all kids in the Northfield community a chance to have fun and grow through the game of baseball. Grades K-6 play in the Northfield In-House league. Travel and Tournament teams are for players in grades 4-9 looking for more competitive play. Travel and tournament team tryouts will take place in March, with practice beginning in May. Tournament team players, 10U and 11U, are part of the Minors In-house program during the week and have 3-4 weekend tournaments. Travel teams, 12U and up, play a full travel schedule with games against other communities during the week and tournaments on the weekends.
